Annually, September 15th marks another Apple event, and this year, they were quite surprising and virtual. Even though the new iPhone is not ready to be launched yet, Apple came up with many different gadgets to please even the most pretentious users.
They set to launch the new iOS 14 on September 16th, just one day after the big event, as well as the new Apple Watch Series 6 that’s going to bring up a similar design, but in many different colors.
The new device features multiple ECG and blood oxygen sensors, as well as GPS, a new and much faster processor, and it’s made to be waterproof to up to 50 meters.
Apple Plans To Launch An Inexpensive Smart Watch
This is about the Apple Watch SE and it can be considered a budget solution, starting at $279, compared to the Apple Watch Series 6 starting at $399. It’s set to launch on September 18th, and its design is very similar to the Series 6, while the functionalities are comparable with the Series 5 watches.
We are going to have two new iPads released. The first one, is the iPad Air, which is the first edge-to-edge tablet from Apple since the iPad Pro. It’s got a 10.9 inch Liquid Retina display, and is powered by the Apple A14 Bionic processor. The same we’re expecting to see in the new iPhone 12.
The iPad air brings back the home button, along with the fingerprint sensor, but this means that we won’t have the facial recognition technology available for it.
The best part about it, is that it comes with USB Type-C connectivity, meaning that it’s going to be much easier to pair it with other devices. It’s going to be compatible with the Apple Magic Keyboard, as well as the Apple Pencil, and its price will start at $599 when it will be launched, in October.
The second iPad we are going to receive, is a classic, yet improved one. According to Apple, the new entry-level iPad will get a 40% spec improvement, meaning it’s going to be much faster than the older generations.
Even more, the A12 Bionic technology is bringing Apple’s Neural Engine to the entry-level iPad, so we will have a lot more AI features.
This one too is compatible with the Apple Magic Keyboard and Apple pencil, and the price starts at $329, or $299 for students.
Apple’s New Services And Updates
The much expected Apple service is finally here, and it allows their customers to keep all their apps under one subscription. The iCloud will now host the beloved Apple services, such as Apple Music, Apple Arcade, Apple Fitness+ and Apple News+.
Right now, Apple offers three subscriptions.
Apple One includes Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, and 50GB of iCloud for $14.95/month.
Apple Family includes Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, 200GB of iCloud, and Family Share for up to six family members for $19.95.
The Premier plan adds Apple News+ and Apple Fitness+, and 2TB of iCloud storage for $29.95/month.
Besides, the new Apple devices will come along with Apple Fitness+, and it’s meant to capture data, and offer the users tailored programs. The price for this plan starts at $9.99/month, or an yearly payment of $79.99. For the new Apple Watch Series 6, it comes free for three months, before changing to a monthly subscription.
Besides all this, there are also rumors that the new iPhone will come in red, which makes everyone even more hyped about its release.
In the meantime, we can just sit and wait for Apple to announce the new iPhone 12.
